London Horse Show

The London International Horse Show a popular festive show and a Pre-Christmas ritual for the    British horseworld which takes place in Late December in London. This year with FEI World CupTM competitions in Dressage, Show Jumping and Driving for seven days and you are guaranteed to witness top class sport

The Olympia Horse Show includes two world-class performances, the renowned Portuguese Lusitanos and you can view the display of 16 Lusitano Stallions ridden by some of Portugal’s top riders. Horse whisperer and trainer Santi Serra will then showcase the bond between man and horse.

Along with these performances a fantastic entertainment including the fantastic Shetland Pony Grand National, the brilliant dog agility and the famous Olympia Christmas Finale. It also hosts extensive shopping village with over 200 stands where you can find a huge variety of  stocks from different places and you can grab last minute Christmas gifts from well-known brand names and not-on-the-high-street shops.

For the first time ever the Natural History Museum opening its iconic Hintze Hall out of hours to screen the epic dinosaur movie. It is final chance to see London’s best-loved dino Skeleton- Dippy Diplodocus who has been greeting visitors from 100 years. The giant dino skeleton of 292-bones is replaced by 83ft-long real skeleton of a blue whale skeleton will be placed from January 2017.

Start your evening with a private view of museum’s popular Dino Walk and grab some popcorn and take your seat for Knuckle-biting adventure – plus see Dippy’s ancient ancestors galumphing about on the movie screen at the same time and they have added two more screening on the 12th December at 7pm and 10pm, proving how popular dinosaurs. There’ll be drinks and food available from the bar, and inspect the museum’s other major key exhibits and explore some of the galleries before the session starts which are free of tourists.

The Winter Film Club

The Rooftop Flim Club becomes Winter Film Club for this winter screening an eclectic mix of classics, new releases to Christmas favorites in Peckham’s theatre and showstoppers.

It is first opened to public in 1908 pioneering an Electric Cinemas.  Now the Winter Film Club screening a varied programmes of recent releases of Christmas Period. Settle down in a deck chair with headphones on, liquid refreshments and tempting snacks to enjoy film on 16’ x 9’ screen during festive period in one of London’s unique settings.
